Friends of the Earth
Testing can often feel like the wild wild west. Meg Sabatino, Senior Digital Innovation Specialist, Friends of the Earth and Cornershop Creative demystified the process with a masterclass on how to test content like CTAs, subject lines and other items in emails and websites, what tools helped most (Google Optimize among others) and what impact it has had on the Friends of the Earth efforts.

The Humane Society of the United States
The Humane Society of the United States team (Gabby Green, Director, Email Marketing, Sarah Braun, Email Marketing Manager and Chris Keane, Web Developer) talk about migrating from Blackbaud Luminate Online to Engaging Networks last year in coordination with Zuri Group. They share some easy (and not so easy) wins like donation page optimizations, symbolic giving (raised more than $80,000 so far!), custom Apple Pay tool (raised $300k in one year!) and email automations that you should have in place.

National Trust for Historic Preservation

Dive into this session to learn tips and tricks from Jess McLean, Digital Marketing Specialist at Oceana, on how segmentation helps keep their email list healthy, increased engagement (resulting in a 130% increase in revenue!), and cultivated better relations with their current and new supporters.

Rainforest Action Network
Learn about how Rainforest Action Network and organizations working with Raise the Roots reduced the friction of their Engaging Networks pages by standardizing supporter-entered mailing addresses and phone numbers in real time. This change improved data consistency and appended 9-digit zip codes for congressional district mapping – using 4Site Studios’ new TidyContact service.

United States Golf Association (USGA)
Louie Zivkovic, Director of Data, Analytics & Development Operations, USGA walks through how his team leveraged Engaging Networks’ APIs and WordPress to build a custom membership renewal experience and improve business processes. 🏆 Engaging Networks presents the sustainer match game
In one of the more entertaining session of ENCC DC, Brandon Hemel, Senior Director – Data Strategy & Management, Membership Marketing & Development Services, at WETA, hosted a super fun Sustainer Match Game with a “celebrity panel” of nonprofit pros. They covered best practices for Monthly and Annual recurring giving – including the surprising stat that pre-selecting monthly giving on your donation page can increase conversions of monthly donations by up to 35%!

Learn about how White Coat Waste Project leveraged a custom opt-out page and email marketing automations to cut down unsubscribe rates by 50%! Mackie Burr, Vice President of Online Fundraising, and her team utilized custom opt-out pages with an “opt-down” approach, first-time donor automations and more.
