When a donor submits one of your donation pages, the secure payment information is submitted to what is called a “payment gateway”. These gateways then authorize the donation, to process the funds, and then, feed back those transaction details to Engaging Networks.

In order to receive funds to sustain your critical work, you will need to select one (or a few) payment gateways to meet the needs of your constituents. A few things to consider are payment methods, currencies, supporter management capabilities, and your recurring payments.
