New Integration: Engaging Networks and Kindsight’s Ascend
Engaging Networks is pleased to announce our integration with Kindsight’s Ascend, a Salesforce-based CRM designed specifically for advancement and fundraising. Now, organizations interested in Ascend for their CRM are able to take advantage of Engaging Networks’ best-in-class tools.

How Engaging Networks Integrates With Ascend
We’ve adapted our existing Salesforce Connector to sync with Ascend. For clients using Ascend, data will be sent to Engaging Networks’ staging tables in Salesforce. There, a powerful mapping rules engine will process these transactions and turn them into Ascend’s custom data staging tables, where the data can be cleaned, standardized, and deduped before entering the primary database.
While our regular Salesforce Connector updates Contact records directly, the Ascend integration leverages our existing transaction sync to append supporter biographical data onto those records. That data addition allows our mapping engine to process the supporter data in preparation for Ascend’s data cleanup tools.
All of this ensures that supporter and transaction data flows into Ascend in the way the CRM expects — clean, standardized, and ready for use.
