Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Launch Your Career in Enterprise Sales

At Engaging Networks, we believe great sales begin with great conversations.

We’re looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Growth Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, build meaningful relationships, and grow into an enterprise sales professional.

If you’re energized by meeting new people, enjoy networking, aren’t afraid to pick up the phone, and see conferences and business travel as opportunities rather than obligations, we’d love to meet you.

About Engaging Networks

Engaging Networks is a global software company helping the top enterprise nonprofit organizations around the world raise more money, inspire action, and deepen relationships with their supporters.

Our clients include many of the world’s leading charities and advocacy organizations working across healthcare, environmental conservation, education, humanitarian aid, animal welfare, democracy, and human rights. Every member of our team plays a role in helping these organizations create meaningful impact.

We’re an ambitious, collaborative team that is passionate about helping nonprofits succeed through technology. We work hard, celebrate wins together, and genuinely enjoy building relationships – with our clients, partners, and one another.

What You’ll Do

As an SDR, you’ll play a key role in creating new business opportunities and helping fuel the continued growth of Engaging Networks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting and engaging nonprofit organizations and partners through phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, conferences, events and other creative outreach strategies.
  • Building qualified pipeline through thoughtful research, in-person convenings with proactive outbound prospecting.
  • Managing inbound lead process to include qualification, timely follow up, and assignment of Business Development Director for discovery.
  • Supporting and strengthening our partner ecosystem by building relationships, identifying referral opportunities, and participating in partner initiatives and events.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Engaging Networks at conferences, webinars, partner gatherings, and other industry events across North America.
  • Regularly share insights from nonprofits, partners, and peer technology companies with the team through a standardized post-event communication process.
  • Supporting the operational excellence of our Growth Team by maintaining accurate CRM data that feeds our reporting, by documenting your interactions, conversations, etc. and Strategizing and brainstorming ways to improve our prospecting strategies, sales processes, and overall approach to generating demand.

What We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Love nonprofits and get excited about their missions!
  • Are energized by meeting new people and naturally build connections.
  • Are great at keeping your ear to the ground, knowing what’s going on in the sector.
  • Are confident in initiating conversations, including cold calling.
  • Are curious, coachable, and eager to learn.
  • Are a responsible, self starter who is autonomous and takes initiative to look for opportunities rather than waiting for direction.
  • Balance strategic thinking with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoy networking, conferences, and representing your company externally.
  • Are highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Are willing and able to travel frequently. Excited for business travel, with approximately 20–30% annual travel to conferences, events, and partner meetings.
  • A clear career path into a Junior Account Executive role, with opportunities to build and manage your own portfolio of accounts.

Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, and other sales tools is helpful but not required. Previous experience in sales, fundraising, hospitality, recruiting, customer success, retail, or other customer-facing roles is also a plus.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role isn’t measured solely by activity — it’s measured by the relationships you build and the opportunities you create.

Successful team members consistently:

If that sounds like you, we’d love to talk.
