Company Policies

Here is the fine print on our company (well, more like Montserrat 12.96px).

Environmental Practices

Just like the clients we serve, we are cognizant of our carbon footprint and work to reduce it wherever possible. Here is the lowdown on our data center (the part of our operation that produces the vast majority of our carbon emissions):

  • Our data servers are housed near a lake. There is a system that draws icy-cold water from it to cool the building.
  • Heat from the air conditioning is kept away from the lake, once it has been run through the heat exchange system. This preserves the lake's ecosystem.
  • The system is a clean, renewable, and reliable energy source. Compared to traditional air-conditioning, it reduces electricity use by 75%.
  • It will eliminate 40,000 tons of carbon dioxide, the equivalent of taking 8,000 cars off the streets.

Engaging Networks pledges to continue to increase our use of renewable energy in our operations until 100% of our consumption comes from renewable energy by following recognized best practices in renewable energy purchasing at our locations. We also commit to:

  • Encouraging our providers/suppliers to increase their renewable energy purchasing.
  • Establishing a renewable power preference in any future procurement decisions.
  • Advocating within our industry to support increased use of renewable energy wherever possible.
