Should You Work With an Accredited Partner?

Engaging Networks Partners have a breadth of experience and complete a rigorous accreditation program which means they’ve been tested and proven in our tools and actively stay up to date on our latest releases and innovations.

Our platform is designed to be easy to use. Once you’re set up in the system you should be able to easily run campaigns and appeals. That said, some clients or campaigns have different needs or more advanced technical requirements. That’s where our partners come in.

What Happens During Onboarding:

The onboarding process is designed to get you up and running on the Engaging Networks platform. During this stage you’ll be making decisions in four core areas.

What Engaging Networks provides:

During your Migration Project to Engaging Networks, our Account Success and Client Support teams will provide the following over the course of fourteen (14) consecutive weeks.

What Engaging Networks DoesWhat You'll do: What you might choose to outsource
Build a project plan built in Basecamp (or another similar platform chosen by Engaging Networks)Your team will manage the project, assigning owners to tasks, adding dates and making sure everything is on track to meet your go live date. You may choose to appoint a partner to act as the project manager to make sure everything remains on track.
Set-up the software account creation and login credentials for your designated SuperAdmin (a member of your team whom you select). Your SuperAdmin will then create all your account users and give them relevant permissions. You may choose to work with a partner to come up with the right permission structure for your organisation.
Build out your Account Data Structure of up to 300 custom fields. This is usually in conjunction with your data team who will want the fields to map to existing fields within your database of record.

You’ll then load the data into Engaging Networks
You may choose to work with a partner who will help you define the right data structure for your team, cleanse your data in preparation for export and to ensure there is an integration with your database of record.

Additionally you might ask them to add the data fields in the different languages for each locale used within your account.
Build out of the following samples:
1. Donation Page
2. Email-to-target page
3. Petition Page
4. Email Template
5. Receipt template
6. Auto-responder template
You’ll check these samples and make sure they match what you provided to us.You may choose to work with a partner when you are looking for additional functionality or design elements that are not included as part of our free and flexible templates.
Creation of up to three (3) subdomains (e.g. one for fundraising pages, one for advocacy pages, and one for peer-to-peer fundraising pages). You’ll complete an order form confirming the subdomains you wish to use and Engaging Networks will let you know what you need to do to make it all work.

Updates to the records are usually carried out by your IT Team or the person that manages your website domain.
A dedicated Account Success Manager for the duration of your Onboarding that will offer best practices, help you translate your specifications into the platform, etc. This support continues after your onboarding has completed. You’ll have your own strategy which details what you want to achieve and the goals you have.

Whether that’s x number of petition signatures, growing your email list or increasing average donation values, do let your Account Success Manager know so they can guide you and share best practices on Engaging Networks.
You may choose to work with a partner to help define your strategy and identify the tactics needed to help achieve your goals.
A dedicated Client Support Specialist for the duration of your Onboarding that will answer your technical questions, build out your account data structure, and create your sample pages. Once your onboarding is completed you’ll get up to twenty (20) hours of support per year. You’ll share what you are looking for and Engaging Networks will implement on sample pages and support you in getting ready to launch.

This is where you’ll have the biggest lift in terms of transferring any historic pages to Engaging Networks, loading your data and setting up your journeys ahead of the launch.
You may choose to work with a partner to help support the migration and build out your additional pages and journeys.

This would include creating the pages in each language that you require.
One (1) thirty (30) minute call each week for the duration of your Onboarding. You’ll attend these calls to make sure everything remains on track and discuss any outstanding queries. You may choose to work with a partner who can provide additional support as needed.

Our partners are often in the Engaging Networks platform for many hours each day and know exactly how it works.
One (1) additional hour of support each week to answer questions via Basecamp (or a similar platform chosen by Engaging Networks) for the duration of your Onboarding. You’ll be able to raise questions in Basecamp and the Engaging Networks team will be on hand to provide responses.
One (1) ninety (90) minute final Q&A session at the end of your Onboarding. This is to make sure you are ready and feeling confident to launch
Migration of recurring card donor data into your Engaging Networks account, after your Onboarding.
This generally happens at the end of the onboarding and there are a number of steps we work through.

- We provide a template for the test file
- We will validate and import the test file
- We will check everything looks okay on our end
- We will validate and import the full file
You'll ask your current provider for the tokens

You'll identify 5 supporters to use as a test.

You'll create those supporters as records in Engaging Networks

You'll then return that test file of the 5 recurring donors to Engaging Networks

Once you're happy it's been successful you'll send Engaging Networks the full file.
You may choose to work with a partner to project manage the process and carry out the checks on your behalf
