We’re excited to share that Engaging Networks has officially launched a new and improved Peer-to-Peer fundraising module. Designed to give nonprofits more flexibility, better data, and a stronger supporter experience, the updated Peer-to-Peer tool is now available to all clients.
This release marks a major evolution from our Legacy P2P offering. While Legacy P2P served as a reliable foundation for team and individual fundraising, the new Peer-to-Peer module was rebuilt from the ground up with usability, integration, and performance in mind.
What’s New
The updated Peer-to-Peer tool includes significant enhancements that make it easier to launch campaigns, engage fundraisers, and gather meaningful insights.
Streamlined Setup and Design Control
With a redesigned interface and prebuilt templates, the new Peer-to-Peer helps organizations launch branded campaigns quickly—without needing technical expertise. Admins can tailor registration flows, add dynamic content based on participant type, and give fundraisers a clean, intuitive dashboard to manage their efforts.
Deeper Integration with Supporter Data
Peer-to-Peer is fully integrated with Engaging Networks’ Marketing Tools and CRM connectors. This allows for advanced segmentation, conditional content, and seamless syncing of transaction data—including appeal codes and activity metrics—into your database. Salesforce NPSP users can also map additional fundraiser and team-level data.
More Tools for Fundraisers
Fundraisers now have more control over their pages, with tools to update imagery and goals, track donations, send thank-yous, and share their campaign socially. A new rewards dashboard also makes it easy for participants to view and claim incentives tied to fundraising milestones.
Team captains have additional functionality, including team management and visibility into donations made to both the team and individual members.
Improved Flexibility for Organizations
The updated Peer-to-Peer also introduces a more sophisticated structure for organizing participants across teams, companies, or departments. This makes it easier to support corporate challenges, regional branches, or repeat events—while also allowing for year-over-year performance comparisons.
There are also new capabilities to support different types of campaigns, including endurance events, DIY fundraisers, and tribute pages created in honor or memory of a loved one.
More Ways to Give
Donation flexibility has expanded to include multiple gateways, currencies, and methods—such as ACH, PayPal, Venmo, donor-advised funds, and mobile wallets. Admins can also upload offline gifts in bulk, with roadmap plans to allow fundraisers to manage these directly in their dashboards.
Smarter Messaging and Coaching
The Peer-to-Peer module now uses the full power of Marketing Tools for event-based and progress-based communications. Fundraisers can receive timely coaching emails, milestone nudges, and updates that reflect their role and performance—helping organizations stay connected without needing to build one-off campaigns.
What’s Ahead
This launch is just the beginning. Development continues with several new features planned for 2025, including:
- Family and group registration
- Cross-site reporting
- Multi-site fundraiser support
- Offline gift entry within fundraiser dashboards
- Enhanced API access
- QR code generation
- Localization for multilingual campaigns
- More tools to support returning participants
The new Peer-to-Peer module reflects what many organizations have asked for: more flexibility, better data, and a better experience for both admins and fundraisers. Whether you’re transitioning from Legacy P2P or launching peer-to-peer for the first time, these updates aim to make setup easier and performance stronger.
