Engaging Networks was founded by our CEO, Graham Covington, in 2000 in London. Since then, he has grown the company to include dozens of employees spanning multiple continents. A few of our key positions include:
Graham Covington - Founder and CEO
Inspired by his time working for a Canadian cabinet member, Graham set out to create an online tool to facilitate better communication and strengthen the relationship between voter and politician. Engaging Networks (originally called Advocacy Online) evolved to include fundraising, email and CRM capabilities. These days, he loves putting together our technology roadmap and dreaming up innovative ways that we can help our clients achieve their mission.
Clinton O'Brien - Chief Operating Officer
Clint wears several hats, helping to grow our ever-expanding team, coaching new team members, driving internal projects and forging relationships with our many nonprofit sector partners. Clint also provides sales and marketing leadership, building on nine years of leading those things at Care2, another firm that serves nonprofits. Oh, and despite Graham’s seemingly superhuman work ethic and output, the boss occasionally needs to off-load a problem or send in a stand-in. That’s another role that Clint's happy to play, as needed.
Farhat Noor - Chief Technology Officer
Farhat was a software engineer at AOL and Advertising.com before landing at Engaging Networks. Now, he heads up our cutting-edge technology team. He writes up technical specifications for developers, makes design decisions relating to our software and ensures our technology delivers what our clients need.
Jonathan Purchase - UK Business Director
Jonathan manages our London office, getting involved in all aspects of our work; from sales, marketing, (a bit of) client support, account management and company admin. He also plans and manages our 2-day annual Community Conference in London. Additionally, Jonathan is responsible for Australian business development, so has been known to pull some late nights!
