At Engaging Networks, we’ve been developing cutting-edge nonprofit technology for 18 years. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to announce the opening of our West Coast office. We’re now officially operating out of San Francisco’s famous Impact Hub. And with that, it’s with pleasure that we announce our newest Director of Business Development who will be running the show in California, Eric Rubin.
West Coast Office
Engaging Networks is a global company supporting nonprofits around the world. There’s no denying that many of those are in the United States - with a growing number on the west coast. The new location is a logical complement to our Washington, DC office - and our London, UK office.
Stop by to visit Eric at Impact Hub or give us a shout to arrange a meeting. The office is also a jumping off point for our Director of Account Services to serve our valued clients in the area. Keep an eye out for future visits, exciting workshops and events!
Why Impact Hub? Well, we could rent a stuffy expensive office. Or, we could save money by renting space at Impact Hub - which better serves our clients as we can apply those funds to exciting technology development. But even better, Impact Hub is a thriving community of like-minded nonprofits and entrepreneurs working for social change. We’ll be able to contribute to the community and maybe learn a few things too.
Introducing Eric Rubin
Eric’s a great guy who knows nonprofits and technology. Eric began his career managing income generation projects for Colombian Refugees in Central America with the UN Refugee Agency. Since then he has run programs and delivered trainings for nonprofits and companies like Salsa Labs, Groundswell, Community Matters, and the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center.
As Director of Enterprise Accounts at nonprofit tech company Salsa Labs, Eric helped build out a regional sales team and bring on some of Salsa’s most valued enterprise clients. At Groundswell, Eric managed the Community Power Program for institutions. This project helped large nonprofits combine purchasing power to support clean energy projects and save on their bills.
In addition to his passion for nonprofits and tech, Eric is a musician and performer. He is a part of San Francisco’s premier sketch comedy group, Killing my Lobster. He also performs a bilingual music show for kids at libraries and schools throughout Northern California.
