Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Demand Generation Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing a comprehensive demand-generation strategy, with a primary focus on driving high-quality leads and opportunities through various channels and optimizing our marketing technology stack for efficiency and effectiveness.
This role will also oversee all paid advertising campaigns (e.g., paid search, social, display) and manage the lead nurture process via marketing automation, ensuring a seamless journey from prospect to qualified lead.
In this role, you will analyze campaign performance, conduct market research, and identify key channels and tactics to support our ambitious growth targets. You will work closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing to align demand generation activities with sales goals and to ensure we are effectively engaging our target audience.
You will work closely with our Growth Team and should be passionate about marketing technology, have a firm grasp of key concepts and skills, such as B2B lead generation, paid media management, marketing automation, digital event marketing, lead nurture, and CRM database management.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of experience in a Demand Generation, Growth Marketing, or similar B2B marketing role, preferably in the technology or nonprofit sector.
- Proven success in developing and executing a demand generation strategy that drives measurable results (e.g., MQLs, SQLs, pipeline growth).
- Deep proficiency with HubSpot for managing marketing automation systems, including creating nurture sequences, implementing automation, and executing lead scoring.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using web analytics tools and CRM (e.g., Google Analytics, Plausible, Salesforce) to measure campaign performance and report on ROI.
- Expertise in managing and segmenting B2B marketing databases, ensuring data cleanliness and compliance in collaboration with Sales Operations.
- Ability to manage complex campaigns, prioritize multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, content, events).
- Advanced expertise in paid media management, specifically Google Ads and LinkedIn ad campaigns, including campaign execution, budgeting, and performance optimization.
- Nice to have: experience marketing software solutions to the nonprofit or social good space.
Functional Responsibilities
The Demand Generation Manager will report directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing, and will work closely with other members of our growth team.
- Develop and implement demand generation strategies: Create a comprehensive demand generation strategy aligned with our revenue goals, with a focus on driving qualified leads through digital channels.
- Manage Marketing Automation (HubSpot): Oversee our entire marketing automation system. This includes creating and managing lead nurture sequences, implementing automation rules, and defining and measuring lead scoring to ensure leads are qualified.
- Maximize Content Impact: Utilize existing content assets to design and implement effective nurture sequences and customer journeys that maximize impact on subscribers and drive conversions.
- Manage Paid Media Campaigns: Plan, execute, and continuously adjust our Google and LinkedIn ad campaigns for maximum effectiveness, managing budgets and ensuring a high return on investment.
- Sales Enablement & Design Collaboration: Guide our Graphic Designer in the creation of effective sales enablement materials (such as one-pagers, presentation templates, and product demo support collateral) that strictly adhere to our brand standards.
- Event Demand Generation: Work closely with the Events Manager to maximize the demand generation capabilities of all hosted webinars and in-person events, ensuring effective promotion and follow-up.
- Sales Alignment and Data Quality: Partner with the CRM System Administrator and Sales Operations Manager to ensure qualified leads are passed to Sales effectively and efficiently. Improve data quality and reporting within the CRM and HubSpot to facilitate productive pipeline discussions and alignment across the Growth Team (Marketing and Sales).
- Analyze campaign performance: Monitor key metrics and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of all demand generation activities. Use these insights to optimize future strategies and conversion rates.
Compensation
The compensation range for the role will be $100,000 to $110,000 USD annually and may be higher based on experience and proven abilities. There is also a bonus that is payable should the entire team meet the revenue target for the year.
