Speaker Presentations
Over 90 people attended our official launch event - Spark 2011 - in central London. Delegates came to learn about emerging Internet trends and how they are being pulled into the Engaging Networks software platform. The day was full of talks on the use of widgets, mobile web, fundraising, data integration, the use of data formats for online applications and details of our upcoming tool for empowering local groups - called Mighty Local. Each session began with a presentation and then smaller groups were asked to come up with ideas on how they might be able to use these tools, which were then fed back to everyone at the end of the day. All the ideas are being pulled into a 'Wiki' page and we will publish this here when it's available.
There was also an excellent 'Ignite session' when anyone could stand up to tell the whole group, in seven minutes, about a recent project or new idea.
